BrandNavigation - www.wheelchairfoundation.org

This was the first project between CJGraphix and Brand Navigation. The website redesign for The Wheelchair Foundation was handled by Russ over at Brand Navigation and I was brought in to do the actual xHTML / CSS / PHP / MySQL build. I think together we more than accomplished our goals.

Some of my favorite parts of the new Wheelchair Foundation website are the drop down navigation. They were looking for something with a flash feel, but still be SEO friendly. With the use of some crafty CSS, and Scriptaculous the navigation was created and animated. There is some other Javascript magic lurking around the site, but I'll leave that for you to find.

The Wheelchair Foundation really needed a way to keep some sections of the site up to date so a simple to use, custom build Content Management System was created. Most of the sections I had up my sleeve as it was, but some other sections had to be created from scratch. They now have the ability to create new articles, stories, events, and even add videos to their site. Something they had been wanting the ability to do for a long time now.

I'm happy with the final outcome and I think everyone at Brand Navigation and The Wheelchair Foundation is as well. The Wheelchair Foundation is a great cause, and I am happy to play my small part.
