Tap Tap Revenged through the Thanksgiving weekend

I remember downloading Tap Tap Revenge when iPhone 2.0 came out. I played it once, but quickly moved on to other things. I didn't come back to Tap Tap Revenge until this Thanksgiving weekend. The first thing I noticed was a huge amount more songs, and I started by downloading them all. Then I realized I could play against other people with the playing online feature.

I love family gatherings. My mom cooks, my dad keeps everyone entertained with random tales from his past, my brother and I huddle on the couch with our respective piece of technology. This weekend I set out to read, and read I did. (I'm not a big reader, so I probably read more this weekend than I have all year.) While I wasn't reading though I returned to an iPhone app that I had long been a stranger to... Tap Tap Revenge.

Originally when I had downloaded Tap Tap Revenge, there were all of 2, maybe 3 songs. The download more tracks link did a whole lot of nothing in those first days. I decided to see what the link had now, and to my pleasant surprise there was numerous tracks to download, and download I did with the help of the 'download all' button. Now I've got Kate Perry - Hot n Cold, and Q-Tip Featuring Eve - Gettin' Up just to name, well two. Honestly, I don't know 99% of the tracks they have, but it's wide selection.

Next I took a look at the 'Play Online' feature. I selected the 'Easy' room and found a few dozen people, playing across half a dozen different channels. I entered a room, and realized I had to wait for a song to download. I waited a short 1:40 seconds for the next game to start. Finally, I was played 8 other people and I came in eighth. Yeah, I sucked. I went back to playing one player until I really got the hang of the game and got good at it. Then I went back to playing online and as you can see, I came in first. Yeah, I rocked.

Now I'm home, and still enjoying playing Tap Tap Revenge, but I have to be playing online against people to really enjoy it though and that doesn't always happen in an instant. Wait times can be up to the 6 minute range depending on when you jump in, but it's usually about 2 minutes. Overall though, Tap Tap Revenge is a ton of fun, and if you haven't downloaded it yet, you really should.
